Welcome to the Holy Name of Jesus School website! We are a Catholic, co-educational school, educating students in Pre-Kindergarten through seventh grade, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Holy Name of Jesus School is a faith community of individuals who have the right to learn, to feel comfortable and safe, and to enjoy the opportunity to reach their full potential. To operate as a successful Catholic educational community, each individual has the responsibility to respect the rights of others.
Holy Name is a child-centered school committed to solid principles of child development and the latest research about how children learn. We address the spiritual, social and emotional growth of our students, as well as their academic growth and development.
Holy Name of Jesus is a community in which we strive to open our eyes with faith, to open our ears with truth, and to open our hearts with love. Through this trinity, we hope to provide the ideal environment to educate our students and pass on our Catholic heritage. When this is accomplished, we will have prepared our children to successfully meet the challenges of the 21st century.
