(This fee will be refunded if the child is not accepted; forfeited if the child is accepted and does not attend.) Applications are accepted at any time throughout the year. They are dated on receipt and will be kept on file until the appropriate time for admissions consideration. The deadline for submission of applications, supporting material and fees is February 28 to be considered in the normal acceptance process and time frame.
Testing At the discretion of the Admissions Committee, testing of each child applying for admission to Grades 2 – 7 may be required. Letters are mailed in mid March. Applications received after the February deadline will be reviewed on an individual basis if spaces are still available. Priority of acceptance will be determined by the following criteria: Category 1 - children of registered and supporting parishioners; siblings of currently enrolled students; children of alumni
Category 2 - children of Catholic non-parishioners (Baptismal certificate required)
Category 3 - non-Catholic children
Within two weeks of receipt of the acceptance letter for new students, an amount equal to the first month’s tuition will be due. No space will be held unless this payment deadline is met.

Fees and Tuition 2009-2010 School Year Holy Name of Jesus School strives to provide the highest quality education within a cost structure that allows for reasonable tuition levels. Total costs of attending Holy Name are comparable with other Catholic Schools and considerably less than local private schools. As the school receives aid from the Parish, charges are higher for those outside of Holy Name Parish. Understanding the costs of raising a family, tuition is liberally graduated to reduce the average costs per child for multi-child families. Overall, the total cost of education averages $700 to $1000 per child more than the revenues received from tuition and fees. In this light, the school conducts an annual Parents Annual Giving drive to collect voluntary (tax-deductible) contributions to make up this difference. Financial AidAt the present time, financial aid is not available.
Withdrawal RefundsIf a student withdraws or is dismissed for any reason, the parents forfeit the Registration, Parish/Out of Parish Fee and Clarion Herald Fee. A student who withdraws before the end of the third week shall receive a refund of 75% of the basic tuition; a student withdrawing before the end of the sixth week shall receive a 50% tuition refund; 25% of tuition shall be returned to the student who withdraws before the end of the ninth week. After that time no refund of tuition shall be made. Other ChargesA per month late fee of $25.00 will be charged after June 1 on accounts in arrears. In addition, greater penalties for failure to recognize and meet financial obligations shall be incurred, and as a last resort, the children may be asked to leave or refused readmission. A NSF check charge of $25.00 applies. After two (2) NSF checks, only cash or cashier's check will be accepted.
